Understanding Your Wallet

Last updated: September 5, 2025

The Wallet is where you manage your balance, top-ups, payment methods, and automatic funding for Daytona. Access it here: Wallet.

Balance

  • Your wallet balance is the amount of prepaid credits available for usage.

  • All sandbox usage charges are deducted directly from this balance.

  • Unused balance rolls over month to month.

Adding Credits (Manual Top-Ups)

  • Select Top Up to add credits.

  • Choose a preset amount or enter a custom value.

  • Once payment is processed, credits are added instantly to your balance.

Automatic Top-Ups

Automatic top-ups keep your wallet funded without manual action.

  • Threshold: the balance level at which an automatic top-up is triggered.

  • Target: the balance your wallet is replenished to once the top-up occurs.

  • The target must be at least $10 greater than the threshold.

  • Example: if threshold = $50 and target = $150, when your balance drops to $50, $100 will be added automatically to bring the balance back to $150.

  • Set both threshold and target to 0 to disable automatic top-ups.

Updating Payment Method

  • Select Update Payment Method in the Wallet.

  • You’ll be redirected to the secure billing portal.

  • Enter your new payment details and save changes.

Notes

  • A valid payment method must be on file for manual and automatic top-ups.

  • Credits are non-refundable but always roll over until used.
